Metropolitan Market

Sometimes you just need to get out of the office for lunch.  Shut down the laptop, grab a to-go lunch and find a relaxing spot to take a break from your hectic workday.

Today, CeCe and I did just that.  We decided to head up to Kerry Park in the Queen Anne neighborhood and enjoy our lunch with a view!  On the way, we stopped at Metropolitan Market, a local grocery store, to pick up something eat.  I got a sandwich, while Cece purchased a cupcake (she brought a home lunch today).

A view of the Seattle skyline on a beautiful day + great company + yummy food = the perfect mid-day break!

What we ate:
BBQ CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH SEASONED FRENCH FRIES
Slow-roasted BBQ shredded chicken on a bun, served with seasoned french fries and a pickle.

WHITE CAKE-FLAVORED CUPCAKE (FROM CUPCAKE ROYALE)
White cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles.

Taste: 6.5

Ambience: 10 (for the view)
