I read many (great) reviews about this burger joint since it opened earlier this year....so when I moved to Ballard, I just HAD to try it. I literally live down the street - this could be a good thing, or in the case of my waist size...a very very bad thing.
Anyway, this is a tiny shop - I bypassed it twice trying to locate it. Upon entering, you go into sensory overload by all of the kitchy collectables (lunchboxes!!) and a chalkboard with an overwhelming amount of burger and side choices. Too many damn choices if you ask me!
You can either create your own unique burger - you pick a type of meat, then toppings and sauces...OR you can try one of their daily special chef-created burgers.
I took the creative route and put together one amazing burger, if I do say so myself! My side choice - Sweet Potato fries...to die for! (...but then again deep fried starchy goodness is pretty hard to screw up)
I'll be back to make up more of my stupendous burger combinations!!!
